EasyMage™ Catalog Cleaner is a small freeware application which was developed by Jean-François POILPRET and Marc BESSIERE (EasyMage™ authors). It can be used to optimize EasyMage™ 1.0.x catalogs internal structure, so that some utilities like Compact-Pro and Stuffit can compress them in a much improved way.
In fact, such an 'optimization' simply consists in cleaning (setting bytes values to 0) some unused parts in a catalog.
When you need to optimize an EasyMage™ catalog, you just have to drag and drop it onto EasyMage™ Catalog Cleaner icon. Cleaning a catalog may take a few minutes if that catalog contains a lot of items.
